Moot Zoo: Dead Doldrums.

Lover of beats,

Don't miss out on this one. Dead Doldrums is a dense, trippy, energetic, hypnotic loop I did a couple of years ago. I thought I might do something else to it, arrange it further, but whatever.

It started with a random sample I took from some of the Couth sessions a few years back which contained handclaps and some guests talking in the background. We were messing around after practice. The recorder was still running. One section stood out as I was listening afterwards. I added some other elements and then the program I recorded it on went south. For good.

I called it Dead Doldrums 'cause I thought it sounded like the opposite of boredom. Whoo HAAA!!!

Enjoy.

Love,
Jason

  1. Holy shit! I had lost track of RNR for a while but just stumbled upon Bummy Penta in some forgotten corner of my hard drive and realized I had been going through serious withdrawal all this time and needed to scourge the net for new stuff. This is a lot of fun!
